Another popup menu problem which has been noticed is that they appear to be "spring loaded". Before we switched to Lesstif (using the 2.1 version libs), we used Motif 1.2 and they were not spring loaded. In other words clicking the right mouse button popped the menu up, and it stayed up once the button was released until you clicked on a menu item or outside the menu or hit escape. Now it pops down as soon as the right mouse button is released.
