Hi,
> - I am trying to install LessTif on my Suse 10.0 OS. Going by the > LessTif home page, the easiest way is to download the .rpm files for > i386. However, on SOurceForge, I can only find i586 files. Does anyone > know where I can download the i386 files? the distinction should apply to you only if you are using 386, 486 or an intel clone which is not compatible with the pentium or later. > - When trying to install the i586 packages, I get errors like the following: > "libMrm.so.2 is needed by Lesstifc-clients-0.95.0-1" > "libXm.so.2 is needed by Lesstifc-clients-0.95.0-1" > I've tried Googling the file names - these appear to be X11 files - is > that correct? If so, where would be the best place to download the > missing files from? Is it possible that you are installing the clients before the actual libraries? I don't use x86 rpms, but those libraries you mention should be included in the lesstif-0.XX.X-1.i386.rpm package.
