A bad combination of OS and lib perhaps (suse is no longer libc5 based)
I think you might try to look for a more suitable binary package for Suse 6.2.
However the 0.90 source release "feature" some quirks in the build system
so this is not a good time to do this perhaps ...
(we'll probably see a new, fixed release soon.)
