There are a few options.
1) LessTif precompiled binaries are not available for
MSVC, therefore you cannot use Microsoft Visual C/C++, unless you
port it to Windows using MSVC. I once used Portland group C/C++
compiler for LessTif version 0.7x to port to Windows. It was a lot of
work, but feasible.
2) Use GNU GCC under Cygwin developemnt tool chain. It does
a very good job, but due to UNIX emulation you do loose
sacrifice speed.
3) Use Exceed XDK, which comes with X11R6.3 and MOTIF 2.0
libraries for MSVC. However, it will need some code rewriting
becuase Exceed folks inserted some stuff in X11R6.3 and MOTIF libs
which is specifice to their libraries, for example
HCLXminit() to initialize Hummingbird Exceed ported MOTIF XM libraries.
I hope this help
