I agree in part. It's easy to create a program with FLTK and Fluid but
it's also easy to create a Motif one using X Designer, but XD is not not
available for free so few people use it.
But that was not my point. I mean weekend programmars don't use Motif but
most of the "Open Source(TM)" comunity seems to judge the quality of a
toolkit by the number of applications written with it, not for their
quality. There are some ideological issues here too: the same people that
said "Netscape is large, slow and bleated" are now saying "Mozilla is
cool".
