Missing tests (additional libs)

Just built Xbae on a system with Motif 2.0.
The Motif lib in question requires in addition -lXpm -lXext to link
properly into an executable.
The configure script (probably this holds for all targets withn the
LT distribution) doesn't check whether it can actually link an
executable, it just looks for some libs to be found.

Perhaps we should enhance our generic Motif-search macro?
