Hmm, how does one estimate what this will bring?
Write a hello_world_gadget_vs_widget program and this time try to
measure RAM being used? The executable size probably won't reflect
a substantial difference with the given method.
Also this approach puts the responsibility for the footprint of the program
more on the programmer's side, not on the authors of the toolkit ...
