I don't have a patch *yet* because I wasn't going to start work without
checking
(1) whether it had already been done
(2) whether it would p^Hirritate the author (PING - is he still on the
list?)
(3) whether it would start another flame war (or the rather civilized,
foil-fencing-like substitute we have for them on this list), like my
recent posts on MDI.
I suppose I should favor back-compatibility and make List-like behavior
controlled by a resource, default to False?
