Keyboard focus problem

Hi all,

I am using ddd (latest version 3.3) and lesstif (latest version too
0.92.6) under KDE 1.2

Every now and then when I start a Qt version 2 package i seem to lose
the capability to use the function keys from within ddd

I.e normally I should be able (and are able) to use e.g f5 to step into
a function.  however after starting a Qt 2 application I loose
ONLY the function key support.  Normal keyboard works.

Any suggestions ?
