How close are we to a release?? I want to severely simplify the Xlt, and Xbae,
configure scripts. Currently we are including a very large and complicated
section from the LessTif configure. This is _not_ necessary!! The results of
the complicated stuff is in the cache file by the time configure runs in Xlt or
Xbae, and the configure in these dirs read that cache file. If the info is
_not_ in the cache, then we are not building at the same time as LessTif,
therefore life is _much_ simpler. We can trim around 226 lines of very
complicated, and error prone, stuff out of configure.in. All those lines are
doing is calculating something that we already know, and if we don't know it,
we don't care about it.
