While Xlt is still not building properly here (nobody else?), I wonder whether we shouldn't change the related Makefiles to use libtool (again)? Looking at some cvs logs it seems that sometimes switch usage of libtool off and on. But if we only use the working subset as of the released versions of auto*/libtool I guess it's the right thing to do. Somehow it's a bit hard to test if related things are still broken.
