We have some auto* macros which we want to have
in their own .m4 files, e.g. ac_find_apm.m4.

They "somehow" made their way into my ~/share/aclocal/
directory. Now when I try to re-create e.g. lib/Xlt/aclocal.m4
aclocal either takes only the pre-installed macro or at best
I can force (by "-I .") to have a warning about a duplicate macro.
It again takes the old, installed version :-(

Either aclocal (GNU automake) 1.4 is a short-minded in its design
or I haven't understood the docs fully and miss the proper
way to handle this situation. The --acdir is a bit too strong,
and doesn't seem to be useful here.

Can someone help?
Thanks.
