For most purposes that doesn't matter, development is not soo fast.
But we need to discuss some technical details ...
You said it's an add-on which works on some internals of 
the List implementation!? So do you need to patch the underlying
libXm?? For now Xlt is really just an add-on, no patching
to whatever *tif is required.
