comiling lesstiff for macosx

Howdy folks,

just a quick question,

has anyone had any success compiling lesstif on macosX - I've tried the 
two most recent versions with no success. the ./configure part works - 
the "make" part works (with a few errors but nothing which stops it from 
finishing. but the "make install" just dies on me.

Thanks for the help! :) and no - I'm not a programmer - just someone who 
likes to try and compile things from various places! :)
