Libtool 1.4 and autoconf 2.50 are the new versions,
but we've had problems with them.

We'll have to move to these new versions and try to locate the problems,
together with the authors of these tools. We've been there but backed
out again to be able to release a major version of LessTif without further
delay. It was long overdue.

Specifically for NetBSD : I think libtool 1.4 should solve your problem.
