Sorry, I meant to add a note that I hadn't tried compiling with Lesstif
yet
(and asking for any volunteers from this list.)

I've been trying to download the latest Lesstif source but something 
in my computer/modem/ISP setup keeps killing my connection after a 
few K of transfer. I'll keep trying.

Yep, I just found the same sort of problem today when I upgraded the gcc 
on my Solaris machine at work. Looks like its the combination of Xm and
gcc
versions.

I haven't tried compiling on alpha-linux yet. I think I can use the 
SourceForge compile farm to do that (maybe?) but running in that
environment is another thing.

Looks like version 0.4.1 will be needed Real Soon Now.
