Quite frankly : do you think IEEE standard for Motif will be much different
from the Open Group's Motif documentation ?

The Motif docs define pretty well what Motif is all about, can you
think of a company who would develop all this documentation *again*
if you can just give IEEE the Motif docs and replace some page headers
and footers to indicate that this isn't a Motif documentation but an
IEEE standard ?

In the early days of LessTif, Chris Toshok has spent some money
on buying such a thing, expecting to get a wonderful and more
complete set of documentation. I don't remember from which party
that was. It all turned out to be the documentation we all know.
