Dunno *what* the problem is, but I have compiled your code with OpenMotif and it behaves the same way. Hence, it is not a Lesstif bug, and the newsgroup comp.os.windows.x.motif would be a better forum for your question. That said, I see you create your widgets with a minimum of resources.
