Good coverage Danny, I got three copies of this. Although I think I should have
gotten four :) I'm as tainted as they come, and I haven't been sued yet. I
think a good first step would be to have a good test that can be included in
both trees. test4 doesn't seem to include a copyright, therefore by default
would be LGPL, I guess, and not compatible with OM, still guessing. Something
that is clearly "okay" in both trees would be good. Of course this would take
some work on my part. I haven't built LessTif in a long time, and the last time
I tried to build OM it failed, so I'm not sure where I stand with respect to
either at the present time :( What I do know for sure, is that I'm getting
really tired of this license issue. If I wasn't so involved in both, I'd chuck
the whole damn issue and move to something with less hassles. The problem I
have is that I think that both beat the crap out of anything else available.
But unless we can get together we are going to loose out, much the same as Beta
lost to VHS, despite Beta being superior. I must add that I still haven't
bought a VHS system, despite the fact that you can't rent a BETA tape anywhere
these days. So I do have patience, but not as much as I once did .... And after
this rant, I have better things to do, so neither will benefit from my time
tonight ..... Good night ....
