Rob, thanks for the message. Looks like I had a problem with
the #if directives. Most of the stuff I'm building is shielded
by #if USE_XFT which nobody (except me) has because I didn't
include it in the configure.in yet. But now I accidentally had
a piece of new code which was not hidden by that #if.
Fixing it ...
