I've just added a first cut at configuration/build support for Xft.
It doesn't currently allow you to build without Xft. I'll add that
soon.
Please note that adding stuff such as these four lines
*renderTable: xft
*xft*renditionForeground: blue
*xft*fontName: verdana
*xft*fontSize: 12
to your ~/.Xresources or whatever it may be called gets lots of
applications
to display using FreeType fonts. Nedit shows nicely what's supported
and what isn't (XmText isn't yet).
