* What led up to the situation?
I've been using python-letsencrypt (and therefore python-acme) OK from
jessie-backports, but today when provisioning a new server the latest state in
apt prevents installing either, due to the mutual breakage described in the
subject line. In more detail:
python-letsencrypt (0.5.0-1~bpo8+1 - jessie-backports)
depends on python-acme (>=0.5.0)
but:
python-acme (0.6.0-1~bpo8+1 - jessie-backports)
breaks python-letsencrypt (<0.6.0)

Hello everyone,
These problems should now be resolved with the migration of
python-certbot and python-certbot-apache into backports. Sorry for the
trouble.
For the record, backports bugs are not supposed to be filed in
bugs.debian.org, because the backports maintainers may be different than
the general maintainers [1]. (In this particular case, we're the same
group of people, but that's not something you can rely on!) In the
future, you should file bugs against backports packages by emailing
[email protected].
