Hi all, I lost my GPRS-enabled MTN SIM in February and I discovered the MTN GPRS ban when I tried to get WAP working in the new MTN SIM I got. MTN GPRS allows me to browse the internet on my PC for free.
Right now, you have to specifically ask for it to be enabled by calling CC on 180. (Don't worry, MTN has stopped charging N6/min... it is now N25 for the whole call no matter the duration. ) They say it takes a week to create and send new GPRS settings. I will know by tomorrow if that info is correct. So make that call! Vmobile GPRS is also free but its coverage in Abuja seems to be restricted to the Asokoro area.... terrible elsewhere. But MTN and Glo cover my area very well, plus internet access. stay blessed, Adam --- AKINSOLA Nurudeen Olusola <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Good for you. > > When and where was the Access granted! > > john doe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I just started using mtn wap to browse n i sendin dis > usin ma fone. > > --- [email protected] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wrote: > > > =?UTF-8?B?SSBkaWQgYWxsIHRoZSBzZXR0aW5nIHVwIGJ1dCBpdCBzdGlsbCBkaWQgbm90IHdyay4gSSB0aGVuIHdlbnQgdG8gdGhlIE1UTg==?= > > > =?UTF-8?B?b2ZmaWNlIGluIFBvcnQgSGFyY291cnQuIFRoZXJlIEkgd2FzIHRvbGQgdGhhdCBNVE4gc3RvcHBlZCBncmFudGluZyBuZXcgR1BSUw==?= > > > =?UTF-8?B?YWNjZXNzIHNpbmNlIE5vdmVtYmVyIDIwMDUuIE9ubHkgdGhvc2UgYWxyZWFkeSBzaWduZWQgb24gYmVmb3JlIE5vdi0yMDA1IGNhbg==?= > > > =?UTF-8?B?YWNjZXNzIHRoZSBHUFJTLiBUaGlzIGlzIHN1Y2ggYW4gaW1wb3J0YW5tdCBwaWVjZSBvZiBpbmZvcm1hdGlvbiBhbmQgSSBhbQ==?= > > > =?UTF-8?B?ZGlzYXBwb2ludGVkIHRoZXkgY291bGQgbm90IGV2ZW4gc2F5IHNvIG9uIHRoZWlyIHdlYnNpdGUu?= > > > =?UTF-8?B?aHR0cDovL3d3dy5uYWlyYWxhbmQuY29tL25pZ2VyaWEvdG9waWMtMzIxLjY0Lmh0bWwjbXNnMjQwMzc5?= > > > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > Tired of spam?
