Personally, I feel they could do much better than what they've just rolled out. The major reasons I still stick to my celtel number as my is because of the large number of people who already have that number, and secondly because I hand picked my number to have lots of the same digit. Switching at this point would defeat that purpose and also cut me off from a lot of people who have my number and i don't have theirs. Otherwise, I would have moved long ago.
However, if our gsm networks finally embrace the method of migrating across networks without changing numbers like it's done in Europe, i think quite a number of people like myself would have moved around a bit. Like the per-second billing that felt like a difficult thing before Glo ....the migration thing is not so far fetched too. And i'm sure the competition will only get fiercer from the moment one - which would be really good for subscribers! Don't you agree?
