Thanks Keith. In my case I'm using WebSTAR, but using
listserv%domain.com works great! I used to use an asterisk ("*") with
WebSTAR 4, but that no longer works...

account = listserv%somedomain.com
server = mail.differentdomain.com
An email server such as EIMS will accept either % or @ as the
demarcation between account and domain served.
