How would it be preferred that I do this on an OS 9 computer?
Unfortunately, I have no idea.
Doing so, you won't have this problem any longer and, more
important, you'll be able to do things you can't do in the log
window.
Like ... ?
Well, I'm by no means an expert on that score, but I do know that you
can filter the log so that you only see the lines relevant to what
you're trying to fix...like seeing if some ISP is blocking you for
alleged spam by putting "block" in the filter box. (Charter.net is
currently blocking us for possibly being spam...although some of
their regional affiliates don't block us, although we conform to all
that we are supposed to, although none of the blocklists list us,
etc...which I found out by filtering on "charter.net" when one of our
subscribers said she wasn't receiving her mail from us. [I sent her a
GMail invite so she can receive stuff until her ISP decides to act
like a member of polite society. I've given up on ATT ever acting
right...])
I'm sure there are other things you can do, too, but I'm not sure
what they are. Some of the folks on this list do some things with
their log files that just make my head spin when they talk about them.
