Hi all I had püurchased Letter Rip back in 1998, and I used it tu run some lists on a beige G3 wit OS 9 or so. The last of these lists became inactive about a year ago, and the beige G3 was retired.
However, now I need to set up a new list and wanted to re-activate Letter Rip - but: (1) Version 3.x does not want to run on my Intel Mac (2) Version 4.0.7, downloaded yesterday, does not accept the serial number I have (because it is obviously for an older version) (3) Fog City Software is apparently out of business, and LetterRip llc does no longer sell the software; they just offers tech support. I had before asked Tech Support whether it is possible to use LR 4 on my machine, and to continue using my old serial number. The short answer was "Yes, it will work fine." - but probably this did not refer to the serial number question. What can I do in this situation? Is there anyone still using LetterRip (version 4)?
