We don't really use Letterrip to its fullest extent as we provide
discusssion lists for K-12 schools but it has worked well since June
2004.

Recently we tried to set up an Announce list and ran into difficulties
and I thought you might be able to guide us.

In the Moderation Tab we have one entry for moderater - One of my email
addresses [email protected]

We have a list called [email protected]

When I sent mail to the list from the moderators email address it
bounces with "you are not allowed to post
messages to" error. This seems to happen whether or not the email
address [email protected] is a subscriber.

Can you help?

Regards

Subject: Re: Managing Announcement Lists?

In your setup of a list, you have give it an administrator name Then in
the administrator setup, each admin is given a user/pass This is what
allows that specific email to have permissions to do the action.
I am careful to be sure there are no empty line spaces for the first few
lines of the user/pass/command lines in the body of the email.
