I think you can set up a separate address list and then in the Incoming tab, add this list to the allowed to post (or words to that effect.) Then have all of the mac.com addresses here, and their me.com equivalents in the main list. This way the mac/me folks will just get one copy of the outgoing messages.

I think, just shooting from the hip here, that I would make the additional list the one with mac.com addresses, with the me.com addresses in the main list. Over time the mac.com addresses will be less and less relevant. One slight problem here is that if someone leaves the list, and had a mac.com address, they will not be removed from the additional list. It just means they could continue to post, even after unsubscribing, but that's not a huge problem.

In any case if you want to offer this dual service it will take some exporting/importing, and editing to get it all straight.

Anyone with a .mac account can use either mac.com or me.com as their

on the list with mac.com. I never thought of it until a list member
sent a message as me.com and got bounced as not a member, because the
list doesn't recognize that they are interchangeable. I wonder if
others have tried and got bounced, but didn't send a note to me
letting me know about the problem?

I'm going to set up an alternate address list for all the mac/me.com
members so that they can send from either address. Anyway to tell the
server software they are interchangeable?
