The original was the correct form. I can't remember where I read this though, probably on w3.org somewhere. All the other links also have a trailing '/', so if nothing else it makes it consistent :)

Huh? It leads to a link of http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu//glibc/ (note the '//' before 'glibc').
As I don't understand why you'd want them in there I fixed these, and the bzip2 link in r4713.
