You just simply can't go backwards with rev levels Jim. There are folks who already have installed the -3 file and have that file in their build scripts. I know I do.

You can't just rename it backwards, it is confusing. Why didn't
you use -4?

The -2 file existed for multi-arch, the change to udev 054 was only suppose to happen after the user/groups files were updated. That change went in, so I added what was agreed upon. Read the post on lfs-dev.
