This looks funny, and more importantly, is grammatically incorrect.

Another one of those "it depends on what you was taught" :)

Some grammar guides would have you believe that anything in a list (be it numbered, bulleted or whatever, should not end with a period, unless it is the last item in the list. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with this, just pointing out why the publisher (and therefore Manuel) *may* have decided on this particular rule.
