Your running linuxthreads, you need to update your glibc to use NPTL.

This is incorrect, Jim. The host does not need to be running NPTL for
the build to be successful. In fact, I have successfully built LFS 6.0
from Slackware hosts on many occasions. There's definately something
else happening here to cause the problem, but I honestly can not answer
what it is.
