Summary: Section 7.9 nitpick
Product: Linux From Scratch
Version: TESTING
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: trivial
Priority: P5
Component: Book
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
QAContact: [email protected]
Noted in the first paragraph:
"Each file has a specific use and may effect login and interactive
environments differently."
s/effect/affect/
This is a common mistake, but one that is easy to remember. I've
seen it a couple of times now. Perhaps a grep through the sources
searching for 'effect' and 'affect' can be done to ensure there
are not other instances of the misuse of either.
