A testing branch is basically a stable book that we are seeking
confirmation on from a larger group of people. The occasional textual
touchup may be needed, and an oversight is always possible, but the
commands should be pretty much done when cutting the branch. If
cross-lfs is at that level of completion, then perhaps you should have
Matt set things up. Until then, cross-lfs has not been merged into trunk
so there is absolutely no reason that I can see to stifle development on
trunk.
