I'm sorry, it now seems as though your judgment is tainted by a

It's not a grudge, I just don't feel BLFS listens to the community anymore.
Actually, I'm sorry I commented at all. I thought perhaps you
didn't know that BLFS has a table of UID/GID's. But now I realize
you are not following the table, simply because of bad feelings.
The table in BLFS is a guide, just as is Cross-LFS and LFS are guide's
to build a functional
system. If anything LFS should be setting the standard for BLFS not
BLFS for LFS.
I'm working on getting hotplug out of the Cross-LFS book and one of the
decisions that was made was
that users/groups were not sufficient. As has been evident from the
conversation in lfs-dev as of late,
that Matt has the same feelings as I do, but I can't blindly change LFS
without Matt's approval. But I
can change Cross-LFS to the requirements that the community has agreed
upon. Yes Cross-LFS is
heavily worked on by numerous people right now, feeding me ideas and
solutions to fix build issues
with different architectures. This is one thing everyone who has been
assisting me has requested, and
needed to be changed..
