Noted also that in the "coreutils" update there were changes to
the Perl instructions, but there's nothing in the ChangeLog or
elsewhere (that I noted) that reflects any changes.

Perhaps I didn't notice it, though, and indeed there was some
indication somewhere that a configure command change was done to
the Perl instructions.
