Two moths ago was decided that 6.2 will be released with the most recent version available at that time of the 2.6.16 kernel tree. I don't have time to search the relevant thread in lfs-dev. Plus, there is an old policy involved: after packages freeze, only updates to fix security vulnerability are allowed (I hope that you don't want that an stable LFS book will be released with well known vulnerabilities issues), and the kernel update fits into that category. -- Manuel Canales Esparcia Usuario de LFS nº2886: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org LFS en castellano: http://www.escomposlinux.org/lfs-es http://www.lfs-es.info TLDP-ES: http://es.tldp.org -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-book FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
