 If we use the updated udev rules Alexander created here:

 http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/~alexander/udev-config/udev-
 config-20060607-try2.tar.bz2

 Then the cdrom rules are moved to contrib/ and not installed by default.
 Then a note could be made on the udev page and/or Ch. 7.4 to use the
 contributed cdrom alias rules with caution.
