This is why you don't make changes that affect functionality two
days before the release candidate is due to be released. I wonder
how many of these other "fixes" have caused subtle breakage
elsewhere in the book. (Also a gig on the Jalfs build method as a
"test" of the book. The book may build, but you don't know about
any breakage because it would be rare if you actually *used* a system
built by Jalfs.)
