I'd prefer if we made the names different on the chapter 5 packages. So, maybe

Ch. 5 bash:
<productname>tools-bash</productname>

Ch. 5 binutils-pass1
<productname>tools-binutils-pass1</productname>

To me, that makes it easier to differentiate the Ch. 5 packages from
Ch. 6 and -pass1 from -pass2.
