The testcase that triggered the original bug in 4.0.18.1 was:
mkdir -p /srv/pgsql/data
groupadd -g 41 postgres
useradd -c "PostgreSQL Server" -g postgres -d /srv/pgsql/data \
-u 41 postgres
Basically, it didn't like the 'postgres' argument to the '-g' switch of
'useradd' - it would only accept the group id of 41, rather than group
name. I don't tend to stretch Shadow much more beyond that.
