Hi All, LFS 6.5 chapter: 6.30. GDBM-1.8.3
When I issued 'make install' it complains that user 'bin' doesn't exist. After googling, I found a URL http://cblfs.cross-lfs.org/index.php/GDBM and followed the instructions to get GDBM installed. I used make BINOWN=root BINGRP=root install make BINOWN=root BINGRP=root install-compat instead of make install make install-compat Is there any mistake I've made before installing gdbm causing this error?
