I've tested this version in terms of building it on top of an existing
2.6.35.2 based LFS build, and it booted fine. There was an 'automatic
reboot' problem reported against 2.6.35.3 at
http://lkml.indiana.edu/hypermail//linux/kernel/1008.2/02428.html but I
suspect it's a GCC bug as I've not seen it.
I'm happy for this to go in before 6.7-rc1.
