Just a data point in case you need it - 5.0.0 builds fine after bzip2 in
chapter 5, (I tested that tar can untar a .tar.xz tarball at the beginning
of chapter 6). For chapter 6 I built it right at the end (alphabetical
order). Again, works fine.
