#2823: Man-DB fails 2 tests with Groff-1.21

Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: normal | Milestone: 6.8
Component: Book | Version: SVN
Severity: normal | Keywords:

Here's the abridged output from 'make check':
{{{
make[3]: Entering directory `/sources/man-db-2.5.9/man/de'
PASS: man1/apropos.1
man -E UTF-8 -l ./man1/man.1 produced error output:
warning: file `<standard input>', around line 134:
FAIL: man1/man.1
...
make[3]: Entering directory `/sources/man-db-2.5.9/man/it'
PASS: man1/apropos.1
man -E UTF-8 -l ./man1/man.1 produced error output:
warning: file `<standard input>', around line 162:
FAIL: man1/man.1
}}}
And here's upstreams response to my report:
...you might just disregard the failing tests for now until I release
man-db 2.6.0. They don't indicate a problem in the installed package
(except for a minor one in man-db's own manual pages). While this was
triggered by groff changing the format of its warning messages slightly,
it's not a bug in groff either.
