I upgrated to glibc-2.14 yesterday, and found that Binutils needs to be
patched to successfully build glibc-2.14 at least on x86_64
architecture:[http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=12366]

I haven't run into any problems so far, except that MPlayer started to
crash.
