i read the note， also the FAQ about this.[[BR]]
i guess the book is about teaching LFS，not ln usage.[[BR]]
the existence of the FAQ and note show that i am not alone for
misunderstood this.[[BR]]
for me，a newbie，i assume the command is to make host system tools[[BR]]
available to LFS， but after read alomg i realize the real purpose is to
make[[BR]]
LFS tools uniformed using /tools to access its own tools reside in
LFS/tools
