Dear Links follower,
psychonaut just announced version 2.7 of Links on Freecode.
The release notes for this version are as follows:
Fixes a bug where horizontal line <hr> was not displayed when the terminal was
set to utf-8. Fixes a bad palette in the framebuffer on TGA on Alpha. Fixes a
bug where \001 was displayed instead of a non-breaking space when converting to
ASCII. Supports IPv6. Supports multiple addresses (tries to connect to all of
them). Fixes a memory leak in FTP. Fixes incorrect display when the aspect ratio
was changed while multiple windows were open.
Project description:
Links is graphics and text mode WWW browser, similar to Lynx. It displays
tables, frames, downloads on background, uses HTTP/1.1 keepalive connections,
and features Javascript. In graphics mode it displays PNG, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, and
XBM pictures, runs external bindings on other types, and features anti-aliased
font, smooth image zooming, 48-bit dithering, and gamma and aspect ratio
correction.
