Just a note, for the record, that this kernel does NOT build with the gold
linker. But we don't enable that in LFS, so it is not a problem for the
book. I tend to forget to use the gold linker in my manual builds, so I
don't know when it broke. I did see reports this week that it was broken
in 4.9-rc1.
